Description

Due to unforeseen circumstances I unfortunately have no choice but to rehome my wonderful 2.5 year old Bengal cat, Neo. Neo, as with most bengals, is an indoor cat for his own safety. He possesses many typical Bengal traits - he is vocal, very affectionate and inquisitive, and extremely intelligent. He is a very gentle cat with an incredible personality, who just wants to snuggle by your side all day, interrupted by the occasional bout of “zoomies” where he likes to have a run around and climb up his cat tree. Being a bengal, he needs a healthy amount of stimulation and play time to stay happy and expel his energy! He is stable at around 5.2kg (he is a big cat!) and is not too fussy with food. He can also do tricks! We have trained him to spin around and also walk through and around our legs, for which he really appreciates a few dreamies! He does not “enjoy” baths but does tolerate them, we tend to bath him every couple of months so that it is not a shock to his system later in life. He is not a destructive cat, being extremely intelligent he knows that his scratch post is for scratching and the sofa is for lounging! He has not damaged any of our furniture. He also doesn’t moult too badly, being a shorter haired cat. In the summer we have used a harness and lead to walk him around outside and let him explore the garden a bit which he really enjoys. In the winter he is not as keen to go outside due to the cold. Neo has been flea treated, is microchipped and was vaccinated however his vaccinations are likely now out of date. We have not vaccinated him because he is an indoor cat in a clean home who is supervised when occasionally outdoors. Neo can not live with another cat, he was raised from 0-6 ish months with dogs but has been away from dogs for a very long time. Neo would benefit from a family with children to play with him and keep him entertained, with at least one stay at home/work from home parent. He is able to be left alone for days out etc without any problem, however does suffer with separation anxiety on the weeks where both me and my partner have to do 4+ days in the office. Someone experienced with bengals would be preferred, however anyone experienced with cats who is willing to research and understand this beautiful breed as an absolute minimum would be essential. Viewings to introduce will be required of course, any questions please let me know. We have lots of bits and bobs for him which we will of course no longer be needed such as, his favourite bowls, 2 litter trays, a large and a small cat tree, his bed, plus a few toys! Lastly, he is a wonderful little boy, our baby boy, who deserves to be loved and cherished and fussed, and we will miss him dearly. We hope that we can stay in touch with his new parents and keep up with his new life! (Although I respect people’s privacy and understand if you would not be comfortable with this). If you have any questions please feel free to send me a message. Thank you!
