🐶 Bertie Beagle Looking for His Forever Home 🐶
Meet my handsome boy beagle with a nose for adventure and a voice he loves to use. He’s playful, affectionate, and firmly believes that barking is a valid response to most things, announcing all neighbourhood activity with confidence and enthusiasm.
He loves to run and play and is happiest when he’s stretching his legs, following his nose, or zooming about like he’s on an important mission. Once playtime is over, he transforms into a professional sofa snuggler who enjoys being babied, cuddled, and generally fussed over like the prince he believes himself to be.
👶 Great with kids – he’s gentle and tolerant with everyone from babies and toddlers to older teens, making him a lovely family dog.
🛋️ Affection level: Very high. Loves cuddles, attention, and being involved in whatever you’re doing.
🛁 Baths: Not his favourite… specifically the being lifted into the bath part. Once he’s in, he accepts his fate with dignity.
✂️ Neutered
🧹 Sheds quite a bit, so a home that’s okay with some extra hoovering is a must.
🐕 Only-pet home preferred – he’s never lived with other animals and would like to keep it that way, thank you very much.
📚 Beagle/breed experience preferred – he’s clever, stubborn, food-motivated, and very much a beagle through and through.
He’s funny, loving, noisy, and full of character. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will run with you, cuddle you, and loudly comment on daily life, this beagle might just be your perfect match. 💛🐾
💛 Reason for Rehoming
Due to a change in personal circumstances following a marriage breakdown, we’re sadly no longer able to give him the time and attention this lovable, noisy little character deserves. He’s very much loved, and we’re simply hoping to find him a new sofa to snuggle on, new humans to adore him, and a home where he can be the centre of attention again.
