Description
This is a very hard decision for us but we are looking to rehome Alfie. We have had him from being a puppy at 8 weeks old and have given him all the love and attention that you should give a dog. But a change in Jobs and routines have since seen Alfie become more and more boisterous. To the point my wife does not trust him and no longer enjoys having him as a pet. He became defiant with her to the point if scaring her by barking and refusing to do as she asked, like get off the dining room table etc.
At this point we did have a bitch so we rehomed her thinking it could have been that. However we have had him to a dog trainer and it has been a massive turn around but the wife’s still has massive trust issues. I’m at work quite a lot and with her having him alone most of the day he spends a lot of the time in his crate. He is a fantastic house trained dog. He is a fantastic guard dog. I would say he is a man’s dog. If you have a young busy family then he’s probably not the dog for you, he will not just go to anyone so please only serious enquiries. He hasn’t been neatured.
