Lemon & White Working Cocker Spaniel – KC Registered - Loving, Loyal Boy Seeking an, Adult Home or Home with Older Children It’s with a very heavy heart that we’re looking for a new home for our beautiful working cocker spaniel, Wilf. He is a loving, friendly dog with a gentle nature, and he thrives on calm, consistent attention. Unfortunately, our home with young children has become too loud and intense for him, and he needs a quieter environment than we can provide. He is brilliant at night, completely toilet trained, and adores playing ball. We have had training with a Gun Dog Trainer and are continuing to put this into practice. His recall isn’t perfect, but his lead training is improving steadily. He loves interaction and fuss and wants to please — he just needs someone with the time and patience to continue his training. Due to the noise and unpredictability of young children, he has given warning bites on occasion, but never towards adults. This has never been aggressive behaviour — simply him communicating that he’s overwhelmed. For this reason, he must go to an adults‑only home or a home with much older, calm children. He deserves a loving, experienced home with plenty of time for walks, structure, and affection. He is a genuinely good dog who will thrive with the right person. Both Mother and Father are KC Registered and pictures can be provided of both.
