Description

Mia is a 4 and a half year old working cocker spaniel. She loves walks and enjoys having little jobs to do to earn her favourite turkey treats. She is good in the house and will settle in her bed with firm boundaries. She can find it a little hard to rest unless she’s given direct instruction. Although, she does often take her self to bed in an evening after she’s had her dinner and walk. She has had 2 litters with her first home and is not spayed. She had her last season in August and can be spayed in November. She has had zero litters while we have owner her. She’s currently eating Harringtons dried food and the Butternut box subscription for her wet food. She has kibble in the morning and half a pouch of Butternut box in the evening with a small amount of kibble. She has mostly natural treats as others tend to upset her tummy. She loves park walks and enjoys sniffing around. She can pull when it’s a new environment but this is her natural instincts. Her recall can be selective. We’ve not left her off but her previous home said he had recall. We use a long line in open spaces. We tend to go to secure dog parks for her to have a run. She is fine being left. She’s used to having a dog walker and is good around other dogs. We have a little girl who is 3 and she’s been fine with her. We’ve never had any barking or growling. She has never guarded her food, toys or treats. She can sometimes get anxious if it’s a busy environment. This will present as circling. She responds well to being given a quiet space and then being reintroduced to the environment. She loves her snuffle ball toys but isn’t a huge fan of a fetch game. Her favourite treats are dehydrated turkey. Her tummy can be funny around pork based treats. She had a long line lead for open spaces and a halti lead for road walks. She’s great in the bath and good at the groomers. She’s clipped fairly short at the moment and is very glossy when freshly washed. She can be a little anxious of a hair dryer but will tolerate it to dry her after a bath. She has improved with this since we’ve owned her/ She’s great in the car. She will often try and jump in boots and travels really well. She’s been excellent on short drives and longer ones of 2.5 hours too. She is fully vaccinated. She is flea and worm treated. She is health tested by a vet. She will come with her two beds, both leads, dog towels, food bowl, food mat, the dried food we have left, the rest of the subscription of the Butternut box, shampoos and sprays, a spare collar and her remaining treats. We are rehoming Mia due to our lack of time and increasing commitments to work. We want Mia to have the home and love she deserves.
