**Full Description:**
Beautiful 1-year-old intact female German Shepherd from strong working lines seeking an **experienced, adult-only home** with no other dogs or pets.
She is a classic black-and-tan with excellent structure, high drive, intelligence, and that confident working-line presence you see in the photo. Up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, in great health, crate-trained, house-trained, and knows basic commands. She's very loyal and affectionate with her trusted people, highly motivated by food/toys/ball, and has the potential to excel in training, sport, or protection work with the right handler.
**Important full disclosure:** She is strongly leash-reactive – pulls hard, lunges, barks, and is difficult to handle on lead. She is also reactive to passing cars (barks/lunges) and does not like other dogs (dog-reactive/selective; no known bites but strong reactions). These behaviors make her unsuitable for homes with children, other pets, or novice owners. She needs an experienced German Shepherd/working dog person who understands reactivity, is committed to management (e.g., muzzle training, structured walks at quiet times), and ideally continued positive reinforcement training to help her improve.
Due to changes in our living situation, lack of space, and inability to provide the time, exercise, and specialized training she needs to manage her reactivity, we must find her a better-suited home. This is no fault of hers – she's a powerful, driven young GSD who deserves an owner equipped to handle the breed's challenges.
