Description
It is with a very heavy heart that I’m looking to rehome our lovely 4-year-old miniature Dachshund, Oscar. This is through absolutely no fault of his own. My work commitments have increased significantly, and I no longer feel it’s fair for him to spend so much of the day on his own. I’ve tried dog walkers and other arrangements but the issue isn’t a lack of exercise, it’s that Oscar thrives on companionship and affection.
I’m looking for a home where he can have another small dog for company, or where someone is home most of the time or works from home. He has so much love to give and would be happiest with people who can give him the time and attention he deserves.
Oscar is fully toilet trained and has been brought up around a cat and three children. He’s a happy, energetic little dog who can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but he soon settles and becomes incredibly affectionate. He’s not a fussy eater, enjoys his walks, and loves being close to his family.
He has been on a monthly pet healthcare plan since he was a puppy, is neutered, and is fully up to date with his vaccinations, flea treatment, and worming.
This is an incredibly difficult decision, and finding the right home is far more important than finding a quick one. I want Oscar to have the happy, loving life he deserves with people who can give him the companionship he’s been missing.
