Description
We are looking for a very carefully chosen new home for our female puppy, aged approximately 12–13 weeks. She is a very small toy poodle cross, currently weighing around 1.6 kg. She is bright, affectionate, and very much still a baby.
She will come with:
* her crate/bed
* plenty of toys
* current food and treats
* some grooming supplies
*collar and lead
*puppy sling for early socialisation
About her:
• Friendly, gentle, and people-oriented
• Sleeps well in her crate overnight
• Doing well with toilet routines for her age, minimal indoor accidents
• Enjoys quiet play, cuddles, and being close to her people
• Has had a first home previously due to an allergy, and has been with us since.
She was advertised as a Maltese (full) however in my opinion she doesn’t look anything like one and I would say she is very influenced by toy poodle, potentially a mixed breed - either way she is adorable!
This decision has been made with her welfare at heart, as we feel our current environment is not the best fit for her long-term. My child is terrified of her (used to our GSD who was very placid and old when he passed), not puppy’s fault, she’s just very fast, flighty and in the expected teething state, so we’re having to keep them separate which is not fair on the dog or my daughter long term. I would hate for her to develop a fear of children long term due to my daughter’s reaction.
Additionally, she was advertised as a Maltese, which is a dog my mother has and we know me and my daughter aren’t allergic to, unfortunately it doesn’t appear she is a Maltese and allergy symptoms in me have returned during close contact with her.
Practical details:
• Age: approx. 12 weeks
* microchipped
• Sex: Female
• Size: Very small (toy breed)
• Vaccinations: Had first, second due and booked for 31/12/2025
• Location: Gainsborough, DN21 2
We are not in a rush and are committed to finding the right home, not just any home. We will ask questions and would welcome questions from you too. A reasonable rehoming fee will apply to ensure a genuine and committed home.
If you feel you could offer her a calm, loving environment, please get in touch with some details about yourself, your household, and your experience with dogs. Thank you for reading and for understanding that this decision has been made thoughtfully and with care.
