Description
We are looking to rehome our young male cockatiel to a loving home.
He is around 7–9 months old, healthy, very active, and full of character. He is semi-tamed - he can eat from your hand with a bit of patience and encouragement, but he does not currently step up onto hands like hand-reared cockatiels. He is parent-raised, so he would be best suited to someone who understands cockatiels and is either happy to continue taming him or is looking for a semi-tamed bird.
He loves being around other cockatiels, so we would ideally like him to go to a home where he already has another cockatiel companion. He enjoys singing, can be loud at times, likes chewing natural straw and wood toys, and is a strong flyer who gets around confidently and climbs well.
He is currently on a mixed dry diet of seeds and Psittacus pellets, and also has a vitamin mix in his water.
We are looking for an experienced and caring home that can provide him with a spacious cage, good company, patience, and care.
You will need to bring a suitable travel cage for collection.
