Presa Canario, 2y3m – Big soft lad, cuddle monster, experienced home only It breaks my heart to write this, but due to me moving to Australia in the next few weeks, I need to find a new forever home for my Presa Canario. This is absolutely no fault of his own. He is 2 years and 3 months old, a big, strong boy with a soft, loving personality. He can be excitable when meeting new people, as he just wants attention and fuss, but once he’s settled he is incredibly affectionate and just wants to be close to you. He has never bitten anyone and is not aggressive — he simply loves people and attention. At home he is a gentle giant: If there’s nobody else around, he’s calm as a cucumber. He’ll happily sit next to you, rest his head on your lap, give kisses, and just wants to show love. People often worry because of his size, but he’s a big soft dog — not scary at all. About him: Not neutered Loves people and affection Enjoys play and interaction Knows basic commands: sit, lie down, roll over, stand, stay “Speak” is something he’ll do for a treat Will follow most commands even without treats Excellent impulse control: can wait with food in front of him until released Can be off-lead safely when there are no distractions — will happily run free, walk, or play; not let off-lead in high-distraction areas Okay with some dogs; if another dog barks or shows aggression, he may react back. An experienced owner can manage this Because of his size and breed, he will only be rehomed to someone with experience of large or guardian breeds and a secure home. He needs someone confident handling a strong dog and happy to continue training and socialisation. He’s still young and full of energy and will thrive with structure and consistency. Important: He is not for sale and will be free to a good home. A home check and calm meet & greet will be required. My priority is finding him a stable, loving forever home where he’ll be treated as family. I’m happy to provide more details about his routine, food, vet history, and what works best for him. Please message with: Your experience with large/guardian breeds Your living situation (house & secure garden preferred) Who lives in the home Your daily routine and how you’d meet his exercise/training needs
