Description
🕷️ Captive-Bred Phidippus regius Jumping Spiderlings 🧡
Beautiful, healthy Regal Jumping Spider (Phidippus regius) spiderlings, responsibly captive-bred from my own breeding pair.
These babies are from a male Phidippus regius and their mother, Sora, a mature female Phidippus regius. They are all showing a lovely warm orange tinge, which should develop further as they grow and moult. P. regius can change considerably in appearance throughout development, so their final adult colouring cannot be guaranteed.
🧡 Species: Phidippus regius — Regal Jumping Spider
🕷️ Captive bred: Yes
🧬 Parents: Male P. regius × Sora, female P. regius
🎀 Colour: Currently showing lovely orange tones
♀️♂️ Sex: Not guaranteed — sex becomes easier to determine as they mature and moult, so they are sold as unsexed.
🏠 Enclosure: NOT INCLUDED — spiderling only
🍽️ Diet: Small, appropriately sized live prey
🍓 Feeding & care
These little ones require small live prey, particularly flightless fruit flies such as Drosophila melanogaster while they are young. As they grow, they can gradually move onto larger prey such as Drosophila hydei, small flies and other appropriately sized feeder insects. Prey should always be suitably sized for the spider.
They will also require access to tiny water droplets through light misting, good ventilation, warmth and a suitable vertical enclosure with places to anchor their silk retreats.
These are living animals rather than decorations, so please make sure you have the appropriate enclosure, food and care setup ready before purchasing. 🥰
A gorgeous opportunity to raise your own little Phidippus regius from a youngster and watch their colours and personality develop with every moult! 🧡🕷️
Please note: individual appearance, adult size, colouration and sex cannot be guaranteed.
Sold to good homes only as these gorgeous creatures need certain care and attention 🧡
