Description
Anita is a fun, cheeky girl who keeps everyone at the rescue smiling. She’s full of personality and has a lovely way of brightening your day without even trying.
She’s great out on walks and enjoys getting out and about, walking nicely by your side and taking everything in her stride. Anita absolutely adores people and is always happy to stop and say hello, especially if there’s a fuss or a treat involved.
Anita does struggle with separation anxiety, so she’s looking for a home where someone is around most of the time to help her feel safe and settled. She would also need an adult-only home, as this will help her feel more secure while she adjusts to home life.
She’s looking to be the only pet in the home. Anita has found it difficult sharing her space with other dogs and a cat in the past, and she’ll be happiest as the centre of attention in her new family.
Anita has epilepsy, which is well controlled with a small daily tablet. We’re more than happy to talk this through with potential adopters and offer ongoing support — it doesn’t stop her enjoying life and being her usual happy self.
Anita is such a lovely dog and we can’t understand why she’s still waiting. She’s ready for a calm, loving home where she can feel secure and return that love tenfold.
