He has a friendly temperament and has a steady independent disposition. Dad is tested for the following: BVA/KC Hip scored – 5/7 - 12 results below the breed median Mother: is our much loved pedigree Kennel Club registered lady. She is a red and white Welsh Pembroke Corgi. She has been a super, caring mum to her babies. She has a friendly temperament; she always has a smile on her face and a waggy tail. She loves cuddles and fuss. Our ladies spend their days with us at home on our 90 acre horse farm. Both parents are tested for the following genetic disorders: von Willibrand Disease type 1 (vWD1) Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) Progressive Retinal Atrophy – rod-cone dysplasia 3 (PRA – rcd3) Mum and dad’s Kennel Club pedigree are available to see along with their test results. Genetic test results of parents mean that puppies will not be homozygous recessive (affected/higher risk) for any of the above conditions associated with the breed. Testing is particularly important in corgis due to the smaller gene pool. Further information on the common corgi disorders is available on request. || Other information || We are 5 star council licensed breeders with over 25 years of experience. They should not be left alone for extended periods of time. They are best suited to an owner who will give them the training, socialisation and human interaction they need. Please do your research on the breed characteristics and care needs to make sure a Pembroke Corgi is the right breed for you. They are an active, intelligent and originally bred to herd cattle so providing exercise, consistent training and stimulation is paramount to a corgi’s happiness. As a fluffier bred there is coat care to consider also.
