These are two very lovely boys, however they do need to be separate from each other and potentially other rats. I will only re-home to experienced keepers! Dark grey and white top eared fancy rat - this is potato, who is a lovely 11 month old rat. However, he has fallen out with my big group of rats and will not get on with rolo (Dumbo in the slides description further down for him), who is in a separate cage. He is a very dominant rat, which we think could still get on with others, but may take some time to get used to and very slow introductions. He will not come with a cage, due to the fact he is currently living in our temporary isolation cage for illness etc. Potato loves his treats, loves a good cuddle and free roam time. The cost for him only will be £15.00, however I will want proof of set up and potential friends he may be able to be housed with. He has had a case of mites, which we have treated, and have treated all of our rats for, so his hair is slightly thinner out at the moment, but he is a healthy rat, never had any issues other than the mites. He does have one very small scab on his side, which was caused from a fight between him and rolo when we tried and unsuccessful introduction. Bridge hooded Dumbo rat - this is Rolo. He is around 14 months old and very chilled and relaxed boy with humans, loves his food and loves going out for adventures and meeting new people. However he WILL NOT get on with other rats. We have tried everything to get him used to others he has never met and made his own brother ( who we are keeping as is healing) very very hurt from a very bad fight that had happened in the middle of the night whilst we were sleeping. They had been housed together for over a year. He does come with his own cage which is set up with hammocks and other bits of enrichment which can come with him. For just rolo he is also £15.00, however with cage he will be £65.00. Please do take into the fact that this is a very hard decision for us to make, meaning we would like to avoid time wasters, and only genuine enquiries are wanted please.
