Description
Meet Pebbles, a beautiful 3 year old British Shorthair. We took her in last October when our daughter moved home and could no longer keep her. Pebbles is very skittish/boarding feral and keeps herself to herself. She will sometimes approach our son, but she doesn’t like being stroked or handled and will run away if approached too quickly.
Pebbles is an indoor cat, which is why she has never been microchipped. She is neutered, litter trained and flea/worm treatments were kept up to date, though they are likely due for renewal. She previously lived with another female house cat but has had no experience of dogs or young children.
Our long term plan was to slowly introduce her to the outdoors once she felt safe and settled, as she loves watching the outside world from the windowsill. However, we’ve realised she will be happier in a quieter home with someone who can dedicate more time and patience to her.
We are in no rush to re-home her, and we’re not asking for any payment, we simply want Pebbles to go to a gentle understanding person who can offer her the calm, reassuring environment she needs.
