It breaks my heart to write this, but due to a recent separation, increased work commitments, and the fact that my elderly dog finds his energy a little too much, I’ve made the difficult decision to find my 1-year-old miniature Dachshund a new forever home. He is a lovely, affectionate little dog who thrives around people and is fantastic with children. He loves cuddles, playtime, and being part of family life. He is still entire (not neutered). Around unfamiliar dogs and cats he can bark and appear wary, but this is fear rather than aggression. With calm, proper introductions he settles well. I’m not looking to make money from him – the £100 fee is simply to help ensure he goes to a genuine, committed home where he’ll be loved and cared for. The right home is far more important than anything else. I’d love him to go to someone who has the time to give him the attention, exercise and companionship he deserves.
