I have had Tommy for a couple of months but unfortunately I have been hospitalised and diagnosed as hypersensitive to parrots so sadly am unable to keep this lovely little man I care very much about where he goes as he can be quite timid with new people He is not fully tame but will take food from your hands, sit on your head, wants to sit near you and will sometimes let you stroke his feet so he is getting there slowly with confidence I would really like to know that the person who takes him has the experience of these birds, the patience for him and able to be around enough to allow him to be out of the cage a lot He is used to being out most of the day He can be timid but at others times very cheeky and comical. He willingly takes himself to bed around 8pm and will stay in same spot and silent until you come to him in the morning (he then expects to be let out). I can discuss many more of his likes and dislikes...............many of these such as grapes will really help him feel happier around you. He is also obsessed with phones and laptops so on one hand they encourage him to interact with you but on the other hand, be careful with the tech! He is very used to and good with children I would like him to go with his cage and toys to give him familiarity during the stress of changing homes Please do not haggle with me on the price - I need to be sure you are able to take care of him. I have tried every rescue centre in the country but they are all unable to take him. This is my last resort and am only doing this due to hospital advice. Please expect me to ask questions as it is extremely sad for us to lose him and we care deeply about where he goes.
