Description
Our 2 year old chocolate cocker spaniel (nearly 3) is in need of a new home.
Please note. He needs to be in a home with adults or grown children and a home where he would get lots of attention.
We are looking for a forever home for him as he has become jealous since our son has grown into a toddler and has become possessive over his Dad. We also have complications with work commitments and ailments. We have not had enough time for him that he needs and our circumstances are not going to change. This is heartbreaking for us to do. But he needs a home with freedom and love not worry.
He is your typical spaniel, he is a very lively, loving and affectionate dog. He loves field walks, tug of war, lots of cuddles and belly rubs.
He definitely is not a stupid boy, he knows sit, paw, spin, stop, calm, come, bed and wait (very impatient to wait for treats though)
He is fully toilet trained and crate trained.
He used to go work on construction sites with Dad. Well behaved and chilled in the van. Loved exploring new areas near by.
He does pull on his lead and harness and he does not like busy main roads because he doesn't like cars or bikes. They scare him, he doesn't react but he does cower.
He tends to keep away from other dogs when out but he was raised with our other dog but she passed away last July due to old age. We have a cat but he does like to chase her up the garden.
He barks in the house when the door knocks or when anyone enters.
He is not up to date with jabs or neutered.
I have included some images from his puppy days too. He would come with his crate, blankets, bowls, towel, harnesses and lead. We also have a small outdoor kennel if required.
