Description

This is Blake hes an absolutely stunning boy. Ive only had him since January as I took him from circumstances that werent great for him. He is honestly one of the best dogs ive ever owned however he just isnt gelling 100% with the rest of the zoo i own. His recall is 10/10 every single time. I do not doubt him at all on a walk He doesnt leave your side unless he sees a stick the size of a tree to drag around. Due to his breed he does require a good amount of walking. Blake wasnt crated with his previous owner however with me he has the option to go in one and regularly takes himself off to just chill. I do restrict where he can go in the house when im not home but this is for his benefit as I have a large farm house and have found when left to free roam he is more unsettled when I get home almost like hes been pacing the whole time. Blake has definitely been abused in his past prior to being with me and due to this I am looking for a very specific home for him. Hes a soft gentle boy who loves to cuddle but very much on his terms until he is used to you..this boy has come on so much since being with me and is alot more confident now than when he arrives however he does jump at loud noises or if something falls and makes a bang. He will also cower if u move to fast and will always chose to pass u behind u. I strongly believe a previous owner kicked him when he passed them prior to being with me because of his habit of doing this, even if the gap is to small thats his choosen route. Blake is dog friendly however a little to friendly at times and does get to much for my older spaniel bea and this has resulted in her going for him multiple times. In these instances hes used his size to his advantage and sat on her or ran away. Hes the softest boy ever and I cant stress that enough. I do have an 11 year old thar Blake lives with fine. They love a game of football together. If my son ever gets to much for Blake, Blake cries and moves away. Hes not good with cats and does chase mine which is another big reason for rehoming. Blake will not go to just anyone Finding the right home for him is extremely important and im in no rush to do this..I just think this boy deserves more than I can give him
