Description
This is the hardest post iv ever had to write. I have wrote and deleted this several times.
Sadly my gorgeous girl is looking for a new forever home.
She was originally bought to be trained as an assistance dog for my non verbal autistic son. She has passed several tests so far and she is so wonderfully clever it’s amazing. My son had an amazing bond with her which you can see from the pictures and she is great with all my other children, but for the past several months sadly my son has taken a severe disliking to her and has hurt her several times to the point I have to keep them separate. Which absolutely breaks my heart, but I’m on constant alert to make sure I protect her from him. Iv worked with different trainers but we are at point she is now turning scared and fearful and I don’t want that life for her, She is still young that a new family can give her the confidence she needs to build herself back up again. She is absolutely wonderful and I can’t speak highly enough of her. Recall is wonderful, heal work amazing, offlead heal work coming on nicely. She gets on well with dogs and loves a good run around the field with them. But this scared behaviour means she doesn’t want people trying to touch her much, she is happy to walk past everyone and ignore them, I just wish we were the family for her cause she is my best friend.
