Hey! We always wanted a family dog, so last year we bought Teddy for ****************** from a breeder in Sheffield when he was 9 weeks old.
Our family loves Teddy, but he needs a home we're not able to give him. He's a high-energy, intelligent dog who guards items he's taken (stolen food, socks/soft clothing, shoes) and struggles to drop/leave it. We have young children, and despite training were struggling to manage him for the long-term in our home. He is affectionate and engaged with anyone he meets. He loves other dogs and has no agression towards people or other animals. We have taken him to a qualified tranier and we are just not the people to ultimately get the best out of Teddy. This is a management and household-fit issue. We are truly frustrated that our efforts have fallen short.
He would do best in a home without young children, or with an experienced owner confident handling resource guarding. He responds well to consistency, clear boundaries, and structured training.
Please only enquire if you are genuinely able to offer Teddy the time and companionship he needs. We want him to live the rest of his years with the care we are trying to give him.
