£500 for the pair — they will only be rehomed together
I am looking for a very special permanent home for Mooshi and Summer, two beautiful pedigree cats who have formed an exceptionally close bond.
Mooshi is a stunning brown Bengal with extraordinary eyes, and Summer is a petite Russian Blue with beautiful emerald-green eyes. Both have pedigree certificates, which will go with them to their new home.
This is a carefully considered rehoming following a significant change in my circumstances. Finding the right home is far more important to me than finding one quickly.
Their bond
The most important thing to know about Mooshi and Summer is that they adore one another and must remain together.
Summer gravitates towards Mooshi, and he has an almost paternal gentleness with her — she is very much his little companion. They seek each other out, relax together and are completely comfortable in one another's company.
Neither is particularly dependent on human attention. Their strongest attachment is to each other, and I think this could actually make them a wonderful pair for someone who works full-time and wants the companionship of cats without having pets who need constant attention or entertainment.
Mooshi
Mooshi is a pedigree brown Bengal, born 16 May 2023. Despite being a Bengal, he is remarkably mellow and undemanding rather than the stereotypical high-energy Bengal.
He can happily spend hours watching the world through a window, lounging somewhere comfortable or simply enjoying Summer's company. He enjoys playing but isn't constantly looking for stimulation.
Mooshi is naturally cautious with people and likes interaction on his own terms. He doesn't enjoy being picked up and isn't a conventional lap cat. However, once comfortable, he shows affection in his own quiet ways — sitting nearby, joining household routines and greeting me with the sweetest little squeak.
He asks for very little and seems happiest with a peaceful environment, predictable routines and Summer beside him.
Summer
Summer is a petite pedigree Russian Blue with striking emerald-green eyes. She was born in May 2025, and is calm, quiet and extremely independent.
She is even more reserved with people than Mooshi and isn't a cat who seeks physical affection or wants to be fussed over. She prefers her own space, although she is quite happy quietly sharing a room and being part of household life when she feels comfortable and undisturbed.
Her real attachment is to Mooshi, and they provide one another with wonderful companionship.
The home they need
I think they would be particularly well suited to a single person or couple who works full-time, although I will consider any calm, suitable household.
The ideal owner will appreciate cats as individuals and won't expect them to become cuddly lap cats. Someone experienced with cats, particularly Bengals, Russian Blues or naturally reserved cats, would be ideal.
If your priority is having cats who constantly seek physical affection, these probably aren't the right pair. But if you appreciate quiet, independent animals and are happy allowing a relationship to develop naturally and on their terms, they are a very special pair.
Outdoor safety
Preference will be given to a home with a secure/cat-proofed garden or catio.
Having cared for more than ten pedigree cats over the years, predominantly Bengals and Russian Blues, my experience is that they are not necessarily street-smart. I have sadly lost cats to road accidents in the past, so road safety is something I take extremely seriously.
Mooshi himself generally chooses to remain indoors even when safe garden access is available.
I therefore would not be comfortable with them having unrestricted outdoor access near busy roads. A secure garden or catio would be ideal, although an excellent indoor-only home with sufficient space, stimulation and windows would also be considered.
As they are distinctive pedigree cats, secure access also reduces the risk of theft.
Health, pedigree & what comes with them
Both are pedigree cats and their pedigree certificates will be provided.
They are neutered/spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, fully litter trained and receive regular veterinary care and preventative flea and worm treatment.
They will go to their new home with familiar belongings to make the transition easier, including their cat tree, large carrier, toys, familiar blankets/bedding and an initial supply of their usual food. I will also provide information about their diet and routines.
Rehoming fee — £500 for the pair
The £500 fee is for both cats together.
It is not intended to recover what I originally paid for two pedigree cats, nor am I trying to make money from rehoming them. It is simply intended to reflect that taking on two animals is a serious, long-term commitment.
The suitability of the home matters much more to me than the money.
They will not be separated, and breeders, resellers or anyone seeking them for commercial purposes will not be considered.
I am not in a hurry. I would much rather wait for the right permanent home than compromise on where they spend the rest of their lives.
