Description
We are sadly looking to rehome two German Shepherds, Sheba and Zoba, who came into our care in November under good faith. Unfortunately, it later became clear that much of the information we were given was not accurate.
We were told both dogs were fine with other dogs. Sadly, this has not been the case. We have three Chihuahuas, and despite careful management, Sheba is not safe around other dogs, which has made home life increasingly unmanageable and unsafe—especially with young children in the household. The previous owner has refused to take them back, leaving us with the responsibility of finding the right solution for everyone involved.
About Sheba
Sheba is a Kennel Club registered German Shepherd, born 22nd January 2023, with a 5-generation pedigree.
She is full of life, boisterous in a happy way, extremely toy-orientated, and absolutely loves children. She is affectionate, loyal, and a joy in many ways. However, she will not accept any other dogs unless it is Zoba, and she has shown aggression towards our dogs. This makes it unsafe for her to live with other dogs.
About Zoba
Zoba is registered with Verein Terrier und Schäferhund Freunde im IHV e.V., also with a 5-generation pedigree.
Date of birth: 04.01.2023.
He is an extremely large, strong boy, and a very calm, laid-back . He loves to bark and is incredibly gentle and sweet. While he has poor lead control, this is purely due to lack of experience—he had never been walked before coming to us. Despite this, he listens well and is very trainable.
Their Background & Care
Both dogs are microchipped and have only had one previous owner before us. They were originally kept outdoors in a kennel and run, but since coming into our care they have adapted beautifully to family home life and clearly thrive in it.
They are regularly professionally groomed by a mobile groomer and are extremely well-behaved during grooming. Their next groom is already booked for 23rd January.
Rehoming Preference
Sheba and Zoba have been together their entire lives and are inseparable—particularly Zoba, who relies heavily on Sheba. For this reason, we are seeking a home for them together.
The Home They Need
These dogs deserve a knowledgeable, experienced home, ideally:
No other dogs
Confident handlers familiar with large breeds
Willing to continue lead training and structure
A family committed to giving them the love, stability, and guidance they deserve
Rehoming Fee
We are only asking for the same amount we paid for them. This is not for profit and is simply to ensure a serious, committed home for both dogs.
If it were not for the safety concerns with our other dogs, we would not be considering rehoming them. This decision has been made with heavy hearts and purely in the interest of everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
Sheba and Zoba are beautiful, loyal dogs who have so much to give the right people. With the correct environment and support, they will thrive and make incredible companions.
