Mavis had her first litter and we at Coppermave couldn't be prouder. Seven striking rich red Working Cocker pups, raised in the heart of our family home in Kent, now looking for exceptional homes to match their outstanding bloodlines.
These pups come from a carefully chosen pairing, with field trial champion bloodlines running deep on both sides — including the legendary Maesydderwen and Timsgarry lines, names that speak for themselves in working cocker circles. Mum Mavis (Cinqueporter Zelda) and Grandad Jarvis (Wilsic Gifted) are both cherished family pets who would love to meet you in person. Dad Fizz (Red Button Sunshine) is based in Shropshire — a strikingly handsome red dog with a wonderful temperament who has produced some fantastic offspring. Health and welfare is at the heart of everything we do at Coppermave. Both parents are fully DNA tested and clear of all 282 recommended conditions, with complete BVA/KC health screening results available to view in full on request. All certificates are available to inspect at viewing.
Our dogs are first and foremost beloved family pets, equally at home on the sofa as they are in the field. Mavis is an incredibly loving and devoted mum, gentle with the children and loyal to the whole family. Dad Fizz has passed his basic, novice, intermediate and advanced APGI Pet Gundog Assessment tests and is a proven sire with a fantastic reputation. Grandad Jarvis is a natural and tireless worker who has been regularly worked during the shooting season — still diving into the brambles at 12 years old with the enthusiasm of a puppy!
Our puppies are raised in a busy, loving family home and will leave with the very best start in life. From day one they are socialised with children, two adult dogs, visitors, household noises, car travel and everything family life throws at them.
Each puppy leaves with their lovely waggy tail intact — our puppies will not be docked. They also leave with a blanket and toy carrying mum's scent, KC registration papers, microchipped, vet checked, wormed, flea treated, 5 weeks free pet insurance and full health certificates.
Viewing is warmly welcomed — mum Mavis and Grandad Jarvis would love to meet you. Pictures and videos available on request.
