Description
Due to our landlord selling the property and the lack of pet-friendly rentals, we are heartbreakingly looking to rehome our girl Pudding, a 1-year-old Bullmastiff. This decision has not been taken lightly and is purely about securing her future and safety.
Unfortunately, we have around 2 weeks to find Pudding a suitable home. If we are unable to do so, she will have no option but to go into a dog kennel, which we are desperately trying to avoid as she thrives best in a home environment.
About Pudding:
• Breed: Bullmastiff
• Age: 1 year
• Crate trained & fully house trained
• Calm and chilled in the home
• Fine being left alone with no issues
• Very affectionate once she knows you — loves cuddles and thinks she’s a lap dog
Pudding can be wary of strangers at first and may come across as protective initially, but once she realises she’s safe, she relaxes and shows her loving personality. Because of this, she would suit a patient, confident, and experienced home, ideally familiar with large or guardian breeds.
She is strong on the lead and can pull, but once she’s had a chance to burn off energy she settles well. She enjoys walks but isn’t keen on parks, water, rivers, the sea, or paddling pools. Rain and puddles are fine.
Other important information:
• Not vaccinated or neutered (personal choice)
• Raw-fed diet
• Loves natural treats (especially turkey feet), big bones, and fluffy toys she can shred
• Loves small dogs but can be bouncy as she doesn’t realise her size
• Not keen on baths but tolerates them with a lick mat and peanut butter
• Nail trimming requires patience
She has only had one vet visit as a puppy (after eating rocks, which she no longer does), and was given the all-clear.
