This is a heartbreaking and extremely difficult decision to part with this lovely, friendly boy. The only reason is that I have health problems and I am struggling.
He is 6 years old, super friendly, and very good around other pets and dogs.
This boy will not go to just anyone you must have a proper setup where his home is ideal for the breed. In winter, his setup needs to be suitable and well prepared, and he will only go to someone who can provide exactly what he needs. He is in perfect health and has a beautiful shell.
He currently has a small Wendy house, which he is outgrowing. This could go with him and be placed inside another building so his sleeping area can be kept warm. However, he needs plenty of space to roam in summer, as he loves being outside, eating grass, and sunbathing.
He has grown since these pictures were taken and is very heavy! He enjoys his weekly soak. These are not animals to take on without serious thought he will get much bigger and is already huge and heavy.
If you feel you could possibly offer him a good home, please get in touch. I’m being completely honest when I say he will only go to a perfect home.
