Toby is our 7 year old, male cat, who we are looking to rehome. Toby is pure black, and has a lovely thick and healthy coat. He is short haired. Toby is microchipped and neutered, but is not vaccinated due to being a house cat. Toby occasionally ventures off outside, into the back garden, but mainly in the summer months (he prefers to stay warm and snuggled inside during the winter!) Toby is quite a nervous and anxious cat, who will tell you when he is feeling dysregulated - often by hissing or growling! Toby is a very unique character, but can be very loving and cuddly, when it suits him! Toby currently lives with another cat (female, outdoor cat), a dog (lively cockapoo) and three young children. He gets on well with the cat, and tolerates the dog from afar. He doesn’t tend to like children very much, but mainly chooses to stay out of their way and hides. Toby spends a lot of his time hiding on our top floor (currently in a 3 storey house), only coming down for food/water and to use the litter tray. Due to moving house (to a 2 storey house), we are concerned that Toby is not going to cope with our family dynamic in this size house, and are therefore looking to rehome him. Toby is fully house trained, using the litter tray day and night, and eats/drinks throughout the day and night. Toby doesn’t really “play”, but does like a fuss (when he is in the mood) and enjoys a belly rub!
