Maximus is still searching his forever home we have yet to find the perfect fit for him ! He is a purebred brown Newfoundland that has lived with us since he was 6 months old. He came to us as a result of a broken relationship and there not being enough time to care for him for as a result.
Maximus has had ‘Gastropecy’ surgery to reduce the risk of bloat and he has had surgery for a torn cruciate ligament in his back leg when he was a year old. Max made a complete recovery and never had to return to the vet for any further treatment. He continues to be completely fit and in good health.
Everything aside what makes Maximus so special is his size ! He is abnormally big for a Newfoundland and has height as well as size ! He is just the most outstanding Newfie I have ever seen and people stop to stare wherever we are albeit a car or walking !
Maximus now deserves a forever pet only
home for the rest of his years. Max is great with people and other dogs although because of his size I would only recommend a family with older children.
Maximus has never lost his puppy nature and needs a home that has plenty of experience in large breed dogs and can have a firm hand on training because Max’s size.

Because of Maximus’s size we are looking for an only dog environment with no cats. Prospective homes must also have experience with large breed dogs.
Maximus is fully KC registered.
Maximus’s parents have been fully health tested.
Maximus has not been surgically neutered.
