🐶 Cactus (previously Yanik), 1,5 years old medium boy, arrived in England at the beginning of March and from the very first moment showed what an incredibly special boy he is 💙
Even during transport — when most dogs feel stressed and unsure — Cactus was full of love and charm. He stood out so much that even our Happy Bus driver said he would adopted him himself if he didn’t already have dogs.
Cactus went into what we hoped would be his forever home, and he truly did everything right. He settled beautifully from day one, showing his loving, playful and clever nature.
Sadly, it turned out not to be the right match for family. Unfortunately one child is nervous and Cactus is too much jumpy and playful. Cactus absolutely loves children and wants to be involved in play and closeness, but for a younger child his enthusiasm and need for interaction is overwhelming. This is not a fault — just a mismatch. Cactus remains the same joyful, affectionate, lively boy who is ready to make the right family incredibly happy 💕

🐶 Cactus is a young (around 1.5-year-old) medium-sized boy with a bright personality, open heart, and a natural love for people. He is one of those dogs who brings energy, warmth, and happiness wherever he goes.

💔 Background / Rescue Story
Cactus was found alone near a busy place, as if he was waiting for someone to notice him. From the start, it was clear he trusted people and wanted connection. He was brought to safety and later travelled to the UK, where he quickly showed how adaptable and loving he is. His recent rehoming did not work out purely due to mismatch with a young child in the home.

Cactus is a very smart boy who learns quickly, especially when treats are involved. He enjoys engagement, interaction, and being part of everyday life.
He loves being close to his people — whether that’s enjoying belly rubs on the sofa or simply sitting nearby, quietly watching.
He still has that lovely young-dog energy and needs it to be channelled through activity, play, and mental stimulation.
He sleeps through the night in his own bed, walks beautifully on the lead, and is friendly with both people and other dogs.
He would really benefit from a secure garden, as he enjoys outdoor time and space to move and explore.

Cactus would thrive in an active home that will include him in daily life and give him both physical and mental stimulation. Another friendly dog could be a great match for him due to his playful nature, but it is not essential.
Due to his enthusiasm and energy, a home with older children would suit him best.
He is a joyful, engaging companion who will bring a lot of happiness to the right family.
