Description

This is Oz , our beautiful funny caique. Hes such a lovable little feather ball and always entertaining. A big change in circumstances has unfortunately led us to re home him. It has been such a hard decision but I feel as though to give him the best future and to not be selfish he needs to find a new owner. We are hoping his new owner has experience in caiques as they are not a begginner bird. I suppose no bird is though. We ideally want someone who is going to be home the majority of the day and is prepared to have a little feathered friend on their shoulder constantly. Oz loves his humans and doesnt have a favourite human but he wants to be with you all the time. So if this doesnt sound positive for you, oz isn't the right fit for your family. Oz is a clever chap! He will put his wings up when you say 'big wings' , he does the wold whistle and can do Adams family theme tune (not always). He always greets you in the morning and although caiques are not known for their great talking he has picked up a few words he can mimic "what you doing" "mummy" . Oz is fed on harrisons pellets, and fresh fruit and veg every morning. He only has nuts and seeds for treats as he gets all his nutrients from his pellets. Too many seeds and nuts can cause harm too birds as they are high in far. His fave treats are blueberries and carrots. Oz loves to bath in the kitchen sink. Soon as he hears the tap running hes there ! And then give him a towel and he will happily surf and dry himself off. His feathers are looking lovely, bright and healthy and he has no health concerns. Our reasons for re home are quite personal but more than willing to share with the right person. I would rather he goes with his own cage for familiarity and his toys of course. He has a large white cage with a triangle roof top. Plenty or play space for when he does need to be in there for a little longer. Please only message if you are genuinely interested. We can travel to you and would prefer this so we know hes going to a good home. Any questions please feel free to message. Many thanks
