Description
It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to find a new loving home for Luna, our beautiful 9-week-old girl.
We welcomed Luna into our family just over a week ago. Unfortunately, despite our best intentions and preparations, we have realised that introducing a young puppy into a home with our resident cat has been more challenging than anticipated.
Our cat is an important part of our family, and we have become concerned about the impact of the change on her comfort, routine and wellbeing. Although Luna is a lovely, curious and playful puppy, we feel that our home may not be the right environment for both animals to settle happily and peacefully.
Our decision is not a reflection of Luna’s behaviour. She is still very young and learning her routines, but the combination of her needs and our cat’s need for a calm, secure environment has made us recognise that rehoming Luna is the most responsible choice for everyone.
We feel that making this difficult decision early is kinder to Luna, allowing her to settle into a permanent home while she is still very young, and allowing our cat to return to a more settled routine.
We are looking for responsible, loving owners who understand the commitment involved in raising a puppy and can provide Luna with the time, attention and consistency she deserves and doesn’t have a cat.
We are happy to provide further information about her routine, background and care, along with her belongings and available paperwork.
Finding the right home for Luna is our absolute priority.
