Description
We are looking for a warm and loving home for our special cat, Malish. We have been breeding DR cats since 2018, and Malish was born in July 2019. From the very beginning, the full care of Malish — including all his feedings, attention, and daily care — was entirely on us to help him grow and thrive. From the moment he arrived, he received constant love and attention, and we closely monitored his development to make sure he grew into a healthy, happy, and confident cat.
Malish is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gentle cat. He is very playful and loves to interact with people, but he is also thoughtful and understanding, always respecting boundaries. He enjoys spending time outdoors in the summer, exploring the garden, going to the beach, and walking through the forest. Car rides and short trips are something he enjoys too, and he has a calm, curious attitude toward new experiences. He is very clean and careful, always using his litter box properly, whether it’s a regular or automatic one, and he eats only dry food. Anyone who welcomes Malish into their home will get an enormous amount of love and affection, as he loves to snuggle, follow people around, and be a constant companion.
When Malish was a kitten, he had a middle ear infection, which affected his coordination. Because of this, he sometimes loses his balance and topples backward, especially when stretching or moving suddenly. He also twitches or runs in his sleep, almost as if he’s dreaming of running. Despite this, it doesn’t stop him from being active, playful, and fully engaged with the world around him. He also has a small amount of feline acne on his chin, but it is mild and easy to manage, and it doesn’t affect his mood or activity.
Malish does have some health challenges related to a suspected herpes virus, which can cause eye and nose irritation, especially when it’s cold. He was tested for herpes back in 2019–2020, but nothing was detected. However, this type of test is not 100% accurate, so it cannot be completely ruled out. Based on his symptoms, it seems possible that he may be a carrier. In a warm and caring home, he feels much better and behaves like a completely normal, happy, and active cat.
In early 2022, Malish was supposed to fly to his forever home in Belarus. He had all his vaccinations, including rabies, and his flight was booked through Moscow. But when the war in Ukraine started, all flights were cancelled, and he couldn’t travel. After that, he went to live with our elderly neighbor for some time. She did not continue further vaccinations, possibly following veterinary advice, to see how his immune system would respond. During his time with her, he spent his days enjoying the garden and the beach, remaining happy, loved, and well cared for. Later, the lady who had been taking care of him had to move into a care home, and Malish returned to us.
He is neutered and microchipped, and his last vaccinations were done in early 2022. Because we have other animals and kittens, and because he may be a carrier of the herpes virus (not confirmed, but possible), it would be best for him to live in a home preferably with no other pets. He thrives in a warm environment, as cold can trigger his eye and nose irritation, so a home that can provide cozy spaces and lots of attention is ideal.
Malish is a cat with a big heart and a gentle soul. He is patient, affectionate, and loyal, and he forms deep bonds with people who care for him. He loves to play with toys, chase shadows, or just sit quietly next to his human companions, purring and enjoying gentle strokes. He adapts well to routines and enjoys both adventure and calm moments, making him suitable for someone who wants a companion to share quiet times or exciting outdoor experiences.
He has a remarkable personality for a cat: curious, loving, and independent when he needs to be, but always seeking affection and connection. He is not demanding but thrives on attention, love, and gentle care. He will reward anyone who opens their home to him with constant companionship, gentle affection, and joyful moments.
Malish deserves a forever home where he can be fully loved, safe, and appreciated for the special cat he is. He needs someone who can provide him with attention, care, and warmth, and who understands his special needs and gentle nature.
