Description
Our beautiful boy Leo was born on 6th March 2024, all his vaccinations are up to date, he is microchipped and fully litter trained.
We bought Leo a year and a half ago. His parents are both 5th generation pure bengals and were TICA registered. Leo is not as we only bought him as a pet. I have a copy of his birth certificate showing his lineage.
He loves to be outdoors and needs to go out on a daily basis. He loves chasing the pigeons and squirrels.. he is a true hunter. We do not trim him nails as he uses them when he's outdoors. He uses his nails for scratching and climbing and this naturally files his claws down so they dont need trimming.
He is very low maintenance and a very well behaved boy. Has never scratched or bitten me, my partner or any of our children.
In general bengal cats are considered relatively hypoallergenic as they have dense coats and don' shed. Leo has a glitter like coat, it shines in the sunlight. He loves being brushed with his comb and will twist and turn for you while you're brushing to get the brush on every part of his coat.
He is not a lap cat which is extremely typical for Bengals but will happily follow you around the house. He sleeps in our bed every night and knows when the lights go out that it's time for bed.
He is on a dry food diet mostly but we give him licky treats and dreamies every day. His favourite food is rotisserie chicken and can't get enough of it. He had his booster vaccination last month and was fully checked by the vets so his teeth, nails, eyes, ears and heart are all in great condition. I would be happy to share his full medical history from the vets.
He is not a leave me alone all day and go out type of cat. He likes to play, catch, run outside and be active. Leo is extremely athletic and intelligent. He does require playtime and stimulation and needs things like interactive toys to channel his wild cat instincts. He especially loves his laser pointer! He wears a Tractive cat tracker while he's outdoors so we always know where he is if he's gone for too long.
Leo has a sweet loyal and loving temperament but does need his own space and give love back on his own terms. He is basically your sporty athletic companion. He also knows how to sit to get treats and open doors so can be taught alot more tricks.
As we love Leo so much, we will only give him to a home which has experience with Bengal cats and ideally where he is the only cat. Leo would not get along with other cats and has been raised in a house where he is the centre of attention.
We will also include his litter tray, food, toys, scratch post and tracker with an active tracker subscription.
