🏡 Looking for a home as the only dog 👶 Wonderful with children 🐱 Good with cats ❤️ Small, affectionate, and full of love 📍 Currently in Buckinghamshire, UK Mabel is a gorgeous, dinky girl (although she's stumpy at approx. 15kg) with the sweetest nature. She absolutely adores people and loves nothing more than cuddles, attention, and being close to her humans. She’s fully house‑trained, walks beautifully on lead, can be left for short periods, and is a gentle, loving companion in the home. Out and about, Mabel gets on well with other dogs and enjoys her walks. However, she struggled living in a multi‑dog household. Her previous owner found her territorial behaviour increasingly difficult to manage, and after trying everything, made the heart‑breaking decision to surrender her so she could have the chance to thrive in a more suitable environment. 💜 What we’re seeing in foster Mabel is now in foster in Buckinghamshire with three other small dogs. Her foster has already seen that her behaviour is rooted in dominance and territoriality, not aggression — and importantly, it can be worked on. She walks happily alongside other dogs outside the home and shows no issues on lead; her challenges are specifically around sharing her space indoors. With continued training, consistency, and the right home setup, Mabel has every chance of flourishing.
