🐾 Forever Home Wanted for Bodhi – 1 Year Old French Bulldog 🐾
It is with heavy hearts that we are looking for a very special forever home for Bodhi, our 1-year-old French Bulldog. This decision has not been made lightly and is purely based on ensuring Bodhi’s long-term happiness, safety, and wellbeing.
Bodhi must go to an adult-only home. He does not cope well around young children (16 and under) and becomes anxious, so this is non-negotiable. Any potential home must be willing to take introductions slowly and be open to us ensuring you are the right match for him.
About Bodhi:
We are Bodhi’s original breeders, and he was purchased from us at 8 weeks old. He initially lived in a pub environment with a young couple, but following their separation, Bodhi moved with the female owner back to her parents’ home, where three Chihuahuas already lived. Unfortunately, this proved overwhelming for him and he struggled to settle.
He was later taken to a busy, established dog show where he received a lot of attention. This caused Bodhi significant discomfort and anxiety, and he began to growl — this was the first indication of anxiety-based behaviour.
As stated in our original contract, we were contacted when the owners felt they could no longer meet Bodhi’s needs due to his anxious and unpredictable responses. Since early January, Bodhi has been back in our care, where he is currently living with his mum and his brother, which has helped him feel secure and settled.
He has been fully checked by a vet and is currently undergoing treatment for ear issues, as they were backed up with wax, which may have contributed to discomfort and behaviour.
Temperament & Needs:
-No aggression shown towards adults when introduced correctly
-Becomes uneasy and anxious around small children
-Best suited to 1–2 adults who can dedicate time to building trust
-Needs clear boundaries, routine, and consistency
-May live with one calm dog, though he may try to show dominance
-Loves attention, affection, and regular walks to help tire him mentally and physically
Bodhi is, at heart, a little softy who just wants to feel safe and secure. With the right people, patience, and understanding, he will make a loyal and loving companion.
We are looking for nothing less than his forever home — someone who understands the responsibility of taking on an anxious dog and is committed to him for life.

We are asking for £1000 to ensure this will be his forever home.
