Description
Nimbu is not your typical cat. He has won over people who were convinced that they didn’t like cats and who claimed to vastly prefer dogs. That is because Nimbu is a cat with the heart of a dog.
Unlike most cats, Nimbu literally runs to the front door when he hears you come home and he then throws himself down at your feet as an invitation to be fussed over. He is quite ‘talkative’ too. Without fail, he will meow back when you speak to him or when you call him. This is not just cute but really helpful when you need to locate him. Like most cats, Nimbu loves cuddling up on the sofa next to you and will work from home or do some gardening ‘with you’.
Nimbu is an easygoing cat. He is not destructive and his litter habits are impeccable. He is playful and (unusually for a cat?) loves a game of hide & seek or tag. Simple things will amuse him like playing with hair ties, trying to fit in any size cardboard box and (unsuccessfully) trying to catch birds or butterflies.
Nimbu enjoys being outside and appreciates access to a garden, but he is cautious by nature and never wanders far. He is equally content as an indoor cat.
Nimbu is not a fan of other cats or dogs, but he is no trouble. He simply removes himself from situations he’d rather not be in. He likes routine and is wonderfully self-sufficient in small ways. He will, for example, put himself to bed in his own spot at night when you head up yourself.
Nimbu was adopted at six weeks old, which is perhaps why he attaches so readily and so deeply to the people in his life. Rehoming him is one of the hardest things I have done. I will miss him enormously and hope with all my heart that he finds a home where he is as loved as he has been with me.
