Description
Iām very reluctantly looking to find a new home for my lovely boy, who is approximately 3 years and 3 months old.
He was rescued as a very young stray kitten, before he was old enough to feed himself, so unfortunately I donāt know anything about his mum or dad. He has been my companion for the last three years and is a really special, loving cat.
Heās vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, has been on a pet plan and regular checks since the day I had him.
š” The right home:
He has been a house cat all his life and is very comfortable living indoors. He would suit someone who can give him plenty of company, affection and playtime, particularly someone who is home for a good part of the day.
He is intelligent and enjoys interaction, so I think he would really thrive with someone who will continue playing with him and giving him attention. He has been very well loved and cared for, and finding the right home for him is much more important to me than finding a home quickly.
ā¤ļø Why Iām rehoming him:
This is a decision Iām making very reluctantly, and it isnāt because of any behavioural problem or because I donāt want him.
Iāve recently started taking a different career path, which means Iām not home nearly as much as I used to be. As heās a house cat and has always had a lot of my company, I feel guilty about how much time he now spends alone.
Iām also going to university, potentially quite far from home and the living arrangements Iām looking at would likely mean I wouldnāt be able to keep a cat. Rather than wait until circumstances change further, I feel itās kinder to start looking for the right home where he can have the company and attention he deserves.
This is a very difficult decision, so I am looking for someone who genuinely wants to make him part of their family and will give him the same love and care that he has always had.
I would much rather take my time and find the right person than rush the process.
Iām not looking to make money from rehoming him, and finding the right home is far more important to me than receiving a fee. I have included a small rehoming fee simply to help ensure that enquiries are from people who are genuinely serious about taking on the responsibility of caring for him.
Please feel free to message me for a chat Iām much more interested in finding him a loving, suitable forever home than in the money.
