It's with a heavy heart that I need to look at rehoming my two girls due to a change in circumstance.
These girls are fully bonded and cannot be separated.
Please read full details below.
*POPPY*
Poppy is an 8 year old Staffy Cross.
Even though she is an older girl, she has absolute bundles of energy. She loves to be outdoors and running around where possible.
She is fully housetrained, super loving, loves to play but also likes her quiet time. She loves nothing more than a cuddle and a soft toy!
Poppy gets on ok with strange dogs but I always keep her on the lead unless she is well acquainted with the dog. She also pulls on the lead so may need some help with stopping this.
She is quite an anxious dog when it comes to loud noises outside (fireworks etc), So needs reassurance on these occasions.
She is quite nervous of new people to begin with, but after being aquainted and a stroke and she will be their friend for life. She has always been around children but I would say as she gets older, she is more suited to older children (that won't tease etc).
*QUINN*
Quinn is a 4 year old Basset Hound, cheeky, stubborn and an absolute baby.
Even though she is 4 and will toilet outside, she can still go in the house should she need it, so needs someone with time and patience with this.
Quinn is so loving and would cuddle for hours given the chance! She loves to play with toys and run around outside.
She is great with other dogs once they have met properly, she may bark at them beforehand but mainly because she is excited to go and meet them!
She is a very shy dog for a second, then will be anybody's best friend!
Quinn is very unbothered about most things, she is pretty chilled most of the time. She loves adults and children alike.
*BOTH GIRLS*
These girls are truly bonded, they eat together, sleep together, play together and rely on each other for support.
They eat a combination of dry and wet food but mainly wet. They love all kinds of treats.
They currently are not spayed but I will be doing this before any adoption takes place so they are not at any risk of being used for breeding.
They are forever friends and under no circumstances can they be separated, this will form part of the adoption contract.
They can be left for reasonable amounts if time alone as they have each other's company and are well behaved.
*POTENTIAL ADOPTERS*
Must have a big garden with means to walk both dogs daily. Ideally space to be let off lead away from other dogs.
Must be patient, kind and loving.
No other pets (these girls need your full attention)!
No small children.
Must live within a reasonable distance of Leeds as they do not enjoy travelling in the car.
Full checks will be undertaken and updates on the girls will be required for an amount of time specified.
If you cannot meet these, please do not apply.
