Description
It is with a heavy heart that my partner and I have decided to rehome our 2 girls, Marcy and Rue. Born on 11/05/26 making them nearly 3 months old.
Marcy is the hooded girl
Rue is the all black girl
Rue is slightly smaller than Marcy as she was the runt of her litter.
They are the sweetest little girls, so kind and gentle but just a little reserved. They like to come out of their cage for an explore but they aren’t fully used to foraging toys etc yet. I believe they would benefit from joining a larger group/mischief of female rats to show them the ropes and come out of their shells more. Unfortunately my partner and I are not in the position to add more rats and do intros etc ourselves but I really think this will benefit the girls and grow their confidence! I don’t want any money for the girls to go to the right home for them but I do ask for £100 for their cage, lots of handmade cotton/fleece hammocks, fall breakers, tunnel, sniffle mat, baskets for play/foraging, chew block, lava ledge, litter tray, water bottle (although they don’t really use it- they much prefer a bowl of water!) AND they have some of their homemade Shunamite food mix along with half a bag of science selective rat nuggets and dried herbs. I also have some breeder selection paper bedding that I use in their litter tray.
If you think you can give these girls a home and introduce them to your females or have experience with rats please get in touch! Unfortunately we don’t drive so they would need to be collected.
