Description

Meet little Asha, a lovely young girl with a playful streak, a curious mind and a little bit of a shy side. Asha was rescued from a South London colony of more than 40 cats that we have been working on, and has now been enjoying the comforts of foster life for around five weeks. She's making lovely progress and becoming more confident every day, although she's still getting used to having people around and learning that she can trust them. Asha is somewhat of a little observer. You'll often find her watching from the background, keeping a close eye on what's happening and, of course, checking whether anyone has brought out the treats! She might not be the first to rush over for attention, but she's always interested in what's going on. Give her a little time and the opportunity to get to know you, and you'll start to see more of her lovely personality emerge. With other cats, Asha is much more outgoing. She loves feline company and has bags of kitten energy, happily spending hours playing, exploring and getting involved in whatever games are happening. We'd really like to find her a home with friendly, playful cats who can keep her entertained and help her continue building her confidence. She would suit a family who has the time and patience to let her settle at her own pace, and if there are children, we think she'd do well with older, considerate children who understand that she needs a little space while she gets to know them. Asha may take a little while to show you just how lovely she is, but there's a playful, inquisitive and affectionate family cat waiting to emerge. She's already come a long way in foster care, and we'd love to find her a home where she can keep growing in confidence, enjoy the company of other cats and, naturally, never have to worry about where her next treat is coming from! Asha is: ✅ Vaccinated ✅ Spayed ✅ Microchipped ✅ Dewormed ✅ Blood tested (FIV-/FeLV-) ✅ Vet health checked If you can offer Asha a loving happy ever-after together, please get in touch today! We will send you a link to complete our online pre-adoption form and we will also require a home video check as part of our process. If you have any questions, please reach out and one of our small team of volunteers will get back to you as soon as possible. Please note: Every Cat Matters is an indoor-only rescue. This means all our cats should be kept in a safe, enriching indoor environment, unless they have access to a secure cat-proof garden, catio, or netted balcony. We believe cats can live full, happy lives without free roaming outdoors. Keeping them safe indoors protects them from road accidents, injuries, contagious illnesses, and territorial fights—while also helping to preserve local wildlife. With love, enrichment, and security, indoor cats truly thrive and live their longest lives.
