Description

3M & 1F Whippet puppies available. Bred for their clever nature's and loveable friendly temperament, who’ll fit in on the sofa and on the farm. Available to the very best homes, 3 male puppies and 1 female puppy from our litter of the 6. Born in early October, ready to go to the very best vetted homes during early December. We’re in an enviable position where we are (& have been) fussy about the homes that our pups go to. We’ll expect you to commit to giving this pup a home for life, so be aware that we’ll have questions about you and your family and will expect you to ask us questions in return. We want to ensure that our pups end up in the very best active homes. About the Mother Mother can be seen with pups. She is conformationally correct, fawn, KC registered, her litter mates are doing well showing with her brother qualifying for crufts. Although there is no compulsory testing for whippets she is echo dopler heart tested clear. Conformationally adhering to KC breed standards and has showing lines behind her. She lives in the house with us and our other dogs. By nature, she is an affectionate, obedient, trainable and loving dog and like most whippets, she’s as comfortable with us out on the farm with the various animals as she’s is on the sofa with our family. About the Father The father belongs to a family member so we can vouch for his temprement, confirmation and potential working sire. He is KC registered and from mostly showing lines. He has a clear echo dopler heart tested. He is firstly a family pet but is also active on the farm and around the stables. Spending days on the farm, going on hacks with the horses and nights in the pub! About the Pups It’s tricky to take good photos of puppies at a young age so I will endeavour to update the photos as they grow. They’ve had a great start and their mother is feeding them well. They will be wormed every 2 weeks from 4 weeks as recommended by our vet. At 8 weeks will have been health checked twice, microchipped and will have had their primary course of inoculations for you to continue. They’ll come with a puppy pack and their weaning diet to get you started. These pups have been born and raised in a busy country family home and are an accustomed to all the usual hustle and bustle associated with this. They will have been on car journeys, handled by children and met our other dogs. They’ve listened to recordings of fireworks and gun shots as part of their upbringing and we would recommend continuing this as part of a desensitisation programme. About you You’ll need to verbalise the process you’ve gone through for choosing a pup, and a whippet specifically, and why you’ll be able to give one of our pups their best home for life. We’ll start with a telephone call and then work out for the best way for you to get to know the pup and for us to get to know you. We’ll be flexible around viewing and collection for the right family. We very much see this as the start of a long friendship as we will expect you to keep in touch with us on your pups progress. It’s tricky to take flattering pics of young puppies so happy to send videos and FaceTime after our initial conversation.
