Beautiful Cane Corso looking for an experienced, suitable home 🖤 This beautiful girl is looking for a pet-free home with an experienced owner who has a good understanding of the Cane Corso breed. Poppy has been raised around children from birth, and her temperament with them is exceptional. She is fantastic with my 11-year-old son and his friends and has always been gentle, affectionate and happy in their company. We have had Poppy for the past two months and have genuinely tried everything we can to make the situation work. Unfortunately, we have come to the difficult decision that we are not the right home for her, and we believe she would be much happier and more settled in a home where she can be the only pet. Poppy currently lives alongside our 4-year-old Mastiff cross, and 99% of the time they get along brilliantly. However, on occasions she can display resource-guarding behaviour towards him and may snap when she feels her resources are being challenged. Because of this, I feel she would be best suited to an only-pet household, unless her new owner has the experience, knowledge and confidence to manage and work appropriately with this behaviour. This is not a decision we have taken lightly. We want to make sure that her next home is the right one for her, rather than simply finding her a new home as quickly as possible. Please only get in touch if you have genuine experience with, or a thorough understanding of, Cane Corsos and large guardian breeds. Her new home must be committed to responsible ownership, appropriate boundaries and continued training.
