Update: 12/01 - Moose, dog pup, Is still seeking his new home. He is the bottom right in the cover photo. A sweet soul who loves nothing more than being around people. He has a fiesty side & loves to play! He is £650 available from 29/01. All other pups are now reserved, thank you.
Pippin my 8 year old tri colour working sheepdog (border collie) gave birth to 4 beautiful pups (2 dogs, 2 bitches) on 27th November, the pups will be looking for new working/agility/active pet homes from end of January/ beginning of Feb 2026.
Pippin is a working sheepdog & very high energy. She also absolutely loves a good game of fetch & will happily fetch anything that I can throw including large tree branches, tennis balls & a frisbee. She works sheep but also happily herds cattle & geese. She is soft as muck and happily curls up on the sofa in the evenings with me and my son (15 months old).
She was tied to my dog Mac who is 3. Mac has one blue eye and whilst he is in the early stages of his working training shows a very level head around sheep & cattle. His nature is soft as butter and he equally loves to have a good fuss!
Both parents have been health tested and are clear - copies can be provided. Also both parents are owned by me and can be seen, though I do prepare you for some muddy paw prints! Both Pippin & Mac live outdoors in large kennels with integrated runs however both have also happily lived inside (crated at night).
Now the puppies;
The largest dog of the litter, affectionately known as Big D, has one blue eye and is mostly black with a white chest & nose.
The smallest dog of the litter, affectionately known as Moose, has a white ruff round his collar and white nose.
The largest bitch of the litter, affectionately known as fluff, is semi rough coated, she has more white including a white splodge on her lower back.
The smaller bitch of the litter, affectionately known as splodge, is mostly white with large black splashes over her body & a split face.
The puppies were born by C section and vet checked at a few hours old. They will be vet checked again at 8 weeks and will leave to their new homes with microchips, vaccinations & having been routinely wormed. They are currently being weaned onto Royal Canin starter mousse & Beta puppy biscuits.
Both parents have been health tested with Pet Genetics - Pip’s results are clear & a copy of these will go with each pup to their new homes along with their vaccination records, Mac’s test results pending. Pups are pure collie however they are not ISDS or KC registered.
Puppies are being brought up inside at present around my young son, cats & other dogs we own. They will also be introduced to our poultry (chickens & ducks) and our cats so they are well socialised before they leave us. Puppies will be moving outside into our outbuilding as they grow to ensure they have adequate space to play & do have plenty of toys which they are learning to play with when they aren’t wrestling each other.
I am looking for working or active pet homes for each of the pups. Border collies are incredibly intelligent dogs and require both mental and physical stimulation to be content. They make fantastic partners for life & are incredibly loyal.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out, I will be doing viewings from the beginning of January for anyone who’d like to come & meet them as well as their parents.
I will continue to add more photos of each pup as they grow.
