Description
This is an extremely sad sale for our family. We purchased Coco a year ago as we had always wanted an African grey. Coco is adorable, he was meant to be my husbands bird but unfortunately he is besotted with females, as you can see from the photos. My husband has tried for hours on end every day but Coco just won’t take to him.
Coco is obsessed with me which is lovely and he will let me do anything but unfortunately I am out travelling a lot around the country and I don’t have the time to dedicate to him. As a result he is spending alot of time in his cage which feels really unfair because he is such a funny sociable soul. He talks ALOT, laughs, sneezes, mimics sounds. He is really fun and amusing and will make anyone smile. Our whole family love him and our neighbours come in to see him aswell. He’s very well socialised (again with females) and very good with our dog.
He has been in the harness outside but he didn’t like the harness and spent the whole time trying to get out of it.
He will come out and explore confidently.
He will come with cage and food supply for a good few months. And all toys etc.
We want him to go to a loving home preferably a female or a couple where the female will be handling him.
He is in our extension at the back of the house and we welcome anyone interested to come and spend time with him.
He is so lovely and cuddly and absolutely loves attention, which is why we have to make this decision.
He comes with his Article 10 document which all endangered parrots have. It’s basically just a registration document to prove he was hatched in the UK and not imported.
He has a gold ring permanently fixed to his foot with his registration number.
He will also come with a carrier for you to transport him home.
We really want him to go to a loving family dedicated to giving him the life he deserves.
The £1000 is for Coco and the £800 is for the cage, food, toys, carrier etc. We are open to offers for the right home.
