So here goes...
Looking to rehome my 5 year old bitch. She's a mixed breed (mum is rottie x boxer, dad is English bull x staffie). I've contacted rescue centres and she has been advertised by one but the are yet to find her forever home and I'm becoming quite desperate now. The rescue have been out and assessed her prior to advertising her.
I've owned Lola since she was 8 weeks old and it is quite heartbreaking to have to rehome her, however, she is desperate for a calmer environment as an only dog. I'm looking to rehome as she is no longer getting on with our other dog. It is just not fair for either dog to continue to live together.
Lola is a sweet loving dog with her adult humans and the two teenage boys she lives with. She can be nervous of new people but she soon becomes friends and is happy to cuddle and give kisses once she knows she can trust. She loves to play and will chase a ball, you will definitely get board before she will!
She is looking for an adult only home, or with calm teenagers. She does like to chase and get quite giddy hence a home with young children being unsuitable.
She knows basic commands and is a very quick learner. In the right environment I would imagine she would become a brilliant dog. She isn't very well socialised being a covid pup. I also developed drastic changes to my health which has made getting out with her often quite difficult. This is also a reason for making the decision to rehome. She deserves more than I can give her.
Lola is strong and does initially pull on the lead, although this calms after the first few minutes of a walk. I do believe that with sufficient walking she will stop pulling and it is just the initial excitement of going out.
Lola needs lots of attention. She is nervous and needs reassuring. She would be best suited to a home where someone is home most of the time.
Lola is spayed and microchipped. She is also up to date with flea treatment and wormer.
I would be looking to view any potential forever homes and won't let her go with just anyone so please bear this in mind when asking about her.
