Eclectus Parrot with a wonderfully friendly and affectionate personality. She loves human company, enjoys being held, and is happiest sitting on your shoulder and spending time with her person. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected change in my family circumstances, Dani is no longer receiving the amount of attention and interaction she deserves. This has been a very difficult decision, and I am looking for a genuinely loving and experienced home where she can thrive. About Dani: female Eclectus Parrot Very friendly, affectionate, and people-oriented Loves being held and sitting on your shoulder Used to cats and dogs Has not lived with other birds Generally gentle and does not bite without provocation Can come with her current cage if required Indoor stand also available Dani does experience some seasonal hormonal behaviour and can over-preen her feathers during this period. With appropriate care, enrichment, distraction, and plenty of positive interaction, I hope she will become more settled and her feather condition will improve. Eclectus parrots are intelligent, sensitive birds that require time, attention, enrichment, a suitable diet, and consistent care. For this reason, Dani would ideally suit someone who understands the commitment involved in keeping an Eclectus Parrot. Due to her size and unpredictable nature as a parrot, I would prefer a home without very young children. Any introductions to other pets or birds would also need to be handled carefully and responsibly. I will be very selective about her new home because Dani's welfare and happiness are my priority. I am not looking to simply sell her; I want to find someone who genuinely understands her needs and can give her the time and companionship she deserves.
