💔 Heartbreaking decision — Brandi needs a new home 💔 Sadly, after a lot of thought and with a very heavy heart, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to find a new home for our beautiful 6-year-old Boxer, Brandi. Brandi is a very much loved family dog and has grown up surrounded by people and other dogs. She currently lives with her mum, Bella (8), her daughter, and our Pug, Rocky. She absolutely adores her family and is especially loving and protective towards my 6-year-old daughter when they are playing in the garden. ❤️ Brandi is a real character! She loves attention, loves to play and absolutely cannot stop licking you 😂. She is affectionate, loving and has been a huge part of our family for the past 6 years. The heartbreaking reason we need to rehome her is that Brandi and her mum, Bella, have struggled to get along for several years. They have had periods where things have been fine, but unfortunately the arguments between them have become more frequent and more serious recently. With a busy household and other dogs, it has become increasingly difficult to keep them separated safely, and I am worried that the situation could escalate further in the future. This is only an issue between Brandi and Bella — we have no problems between Brandi and our other dogs. Because of this, we feel Brandi would be happiest in a home where she is the only dog. She isn’t particularly comfortable around other dogs either. If another dog barks at her while out on a walk, she can become frustrated and pull on the lead. We believe that, with the right home, patience and one-to-one attention, she could really thrive. Ideally, we are looking for someone who understands Boxers and is willing to give Brandi the time, love and attention she deserves. A home where she can be the centre of attention would be perfect for her. ❤️ This is not a decision we have made lightly. We absolutely adore her and I am heartbroken that we have reached this point. But ultimately, Brandi’s safety, happiness and quality of life have to come first. We want to make sure she goes to the right home, so please don’t be offended if we ask lots of questions. This isn’t about giving her away quickly — it’s about finding her a loving forever home where she can be happy. 📍 Based in Essex.
