Description
This is Winnie who I've raised from the minute she was born.
I've tried to get behaviourists, I've tried separating, but nobody has been willing to help me with her and this is a very last resort.
I will preface that it is a REQUIREMENT that I get updates on her and if she's close I may get to visit her once or twice or know how she gets on. No false promises, that's all I ask.
Winnie had a rough life. I originally kept another one of her sisters who developed littermate syndrome and attacked Winnie despite my work to prevent it. Winnie became highly food possessive because of this and still is.
Then last year I was in a terrible position with family and needed an emergency sitter. This sitter proceeded to attempt to steal Winnie and the police had to bring her back to me. She's had high anxiety since then.
Despite no behaviourists being willing to help me, I still tried my best to work on her aggression at home. She specifically is highly aggressive with her own mum now, which has meant I've had to separate them completely. She has been fine with other dogs on walks, but I would absolutely not trust her with other dogs in the home.
She needs to be:
-The only dog unless the new owner was a behaviourist and was confident they could help her
-Loved and given lots of attention: She deserves it, let her on the couch, she'd even sleep soundly with you on your bed like she used to with me.
Because of her anxiety, she does bark if she hears people outside and is prone to accidents, but given time she will feel more comfortable pottying outside. She currently uses pads with me when she's inside.
Any other questions please let me know.
