🐾 Loving Old English Bulldog Looking for His Forever Home 🐾
This is a very reluctant rehoming due to ill health. Hank is our much-loved Olde English Bulldogge and we want to find him the perfect home where he’ll get the time, love, and companionship he deserves.
About Hank:
• Big softie — he’s basically a big baby who just wants to be close to his people.
• Gentle around the home — he has never damaged anything indoors intentionally.
• Great with children — he’s grown up with our 9 grandchildren, but would need to be supervised as gets over excited and being a heavy dog can run along side and knock them over.
• Gets along well with people, but needs a supervised introduction to visitors as he gets excited and can jump up (he’s strong, but only wants cuddles).
• True to his breed — he can be a little stubborn and very lazy! He usually takes himself off to bed around 8pm and won’t stir again until mid-morning.
• Balanced lifestyle — he’s equally happy lounging on the sofa or heading out for walks. He would need a garden as Hank is a Sun worshipper loves laying in the Sun.
• Calm outside — he tends to ignore people when out and about, as he’s too busy enjoying being outside. Loves other dogs and would happily play.
Background:
• Registered with the New England Bull Breed Registry, with a strong pedigree line.
The Home We’re Looking For:
Hank needs someone who will let him be a true companion — someone who appreciates his cuddly, laid-back nature, but can also give him gentle guidance and care. He can be slobbery around food and when over excited, anyone who knows this breed will understand what I mean. Hank was hand fed as a puppy so he has no issues with food bones etc you can remove food from Hank with no worries.
This could possibly be a long process as we will not let Hank go to just anyone you will need a good knowledge of this breed and fit the criteria for him to gain a better life than he has now.
