Description
Pet Home Only. We bred this Big Bear born on Fathers Day. He has always lived with us. Both of his parents are chocolate and come from very well known show line kennels in the USA & UK. The puppy picture is of him when he was 6 weeks of age. He is a very Big Boy weighs around 40+kg and Loves standing on his back legs with front paws around your waist and giving adults hugs. You must be strong enough with good balance to allow this to happen. He appreciates daily routines that do not change frequently. He adores one on one attention from humans, he is truly not interested in being with or around other dogs, we learned this from him at a young age, therefore he would benefit from being the only dog in his family - 'no other dogs in his life.' This would include Not walking him in parks or areas where other dogs would be about off lead and want to come to him to play. Other dogs stress him and he does not need to be exposed to other dogs. Being chocolate he is somewhat lazy yet happy enough being in his own enclosed / fenced garden or large outdoor space in a rural area & where he can roam independently from inside the house to outside, for his entertainment & exercise. A flat or a small home would not be suitable as he is a large dog and also requires the space inside to move about. He is used to cats, chickens, sheep & children, and travelling in the car. He loves being in a crate (his bedroom) at night. He would be a great companion for a couple or single person who has had labradors before. We do have kennels and he is also used to this. He truly enjoys being outside as often as possible. He is not vocal, only barks if there is someone unfamiliar about to let you know, no need for a door bell !
His brother also lives with us. We only want the best environment for him therefore we are doing interviews initially via telephone to answer all your questions prior to coming to meet him. In the event you are able to provide life long care and have spoken with us, you are ready to come and meet him and meet all our other Labradors.
